Ooo - must remember a title

So, I finally managed to work out how to post (to the correct blog!) with pictures - so hopefully I can now stop putting random pictures on here by mistake.
I have had a very unproductive day today but hopefully tomorrow will be better (it has to - there's lots to do as always).
Chris is away this week including a trip to Aberdeen so he won't be back until Friday night. So, a peaceful week for me then ;-) I went and raided the John Lewis clearance today. New bedding to replace some that's worn out and also some knitting yarn for my stash. The stash is beginning to take over - I may need to rationalise.
I have music practice tonight, but it shouldn't go on too long. I chose the songs this week, so I know none of them is too way out (although Jayne said she didn't know weither of the communion songs). Off the top of my head I can't remember what they were but I'm sure it will be fine.
Bought (and read) a great book yesterday - 84 Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff. I picked it up because it had a pretty cover (a special edition) but really enjoyed the book. It was a very easy read but not like candy floss. I've also go Diary of a Country Lady in the same series, so I shall see what that one is like.
Well, time to go home and perhaps put those new sheets on the bed; or maybe I'll wait till the weekend.

Today I started BSJ number 2 using up various oddments of Shepherd Sock yarn.

First post

This is my first ever blog, so I am very excited.

I have had a chilled weekend, largely knitting, but this week is going to be manic with work. The knitting was broken up by singing at a wedding which went better than it might have done. Chris and I are also part way through booking our summer holiday - hurray - we both need it. We are going to Northern Ireland for a week in August around our birthdays - as long as we don't end up spending the whole time on long walks it'll be fine.

I'm currently at work and should really go home - so that's all for now!
